For counselors and school administrators

At Empowered by Education (E2), we know how much you care about your students—and how stretched counseling teams can feel when trying to support every junior and senior through the college process. Led by Dr. Kim Schroeder, our team is here to walk alongside you, extending the services you already provide and making sure no student falls through the cracks. We will partner with you and your district to find funding to support your needs and goals.

    • Your RIGHTFIT College Course: A self-paced online course guiding students step by step through the admissions journey. We’ll make sure families get logins so everyone can access it.

    • E2 Community Access: Students not part of the intensive services can also access the Empowered by Education Community and to gain access to additional information and materials, live video sessions, the opportunity to send direct messages to the E2 team to receive individualized feedback for a small subscription on fee ($10/per month). For those who can afford to pay this fee, it helps to offset the cost other programming we are able to offer.

    • Teacher Guide: Easy-to-use resources so Your RIGHTFIT College Course can be built into Homeroom or other common blocks, giving every student more exposure to the college process. And good news - it will take less than 10 minutes!

    • Fall: Essay presentations and a resume workshop for seniors.

    • Spring: Essay and resume presentations for juniors.

    • College Nights: One in the fall and one in the spring for families.

    • Partnerships: We’ll also be there to support at KHEAA Financial Aid nights and application workshops, you want extra support.

    • One-on-One & Small Group Counseling: Together with your team, we’ll identify 20 juniors and 20 seniors we will develop criteria to identify who would benefit from additional, individualized support. Our team then provides one-on-one and small group coaching so your students get the help they need.es here
