Sarah Guinn brings 13 years of experience in higher education and enrollment management to Empowered by Education. Her 20 year professional background includes a wide range of roles not only in admissions but in association management, event planning, communications, scholarship program management, and strategic planning. She’s especially passionate about supporting first-generation students and expanding access to post-secondary education for all.

Sarah is known for her organization, hospitality, and design skills. Whether she's planning a seamless event, building thoughtful systems, or crafting welcoming experiences, she brings creativity and care to every detail. She plays a key role helping to ensure the organization’s work is impactful and student-centered.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Sarah studied at Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky.  Outside of work, Sarah loves getting lost in a good book, traveling to new places, anything and everything Disney and catching live music whenever she can. She is a devoted dog mom and lives with her family in Kentucky.
